The medium is molten sand, or simply hot glass. The creation of art glass is so physically demanding and fast moving that Jodi Bove has made glassblowing a performance art. Aimed toward educating the public, the hot glass demonstration includes a detailed narration explaining the history of glass art as well as an explanation to the techniques being executed. Each year Jodi spends two months each performing at THE NEW YORK and TEXAS RENAISSANCE FESTIVALS where she becomes a renaissance artist showing how glass was made 500 years ago.
