Taking
a gather from the "day furnace". The
day furnace holds all of our clear glass and is left on at all
times, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, at a constant temperature of
about 2000 degrees Fahrenheit.
During the making of a piece, Jodi will return several times to 'gather'
more glass onto the blowpipe.
